Hosted by Junior Lehman and Susan Mills

Or
Wednesday, May 28, 5:00-8:00

Foxhunting is an exciting sport that unites humans and animals in the natural beauty of the countryside. Experience the sound of the hunting horn and foxhounds in full cry while galloping with your equine partner.

Join staff and members of the Long Lake Hounds (LLH) for an informal but informative clinic on foxhunting. We begin with a 45 minute discussion of the history, etiquette, dress, tack and proper turnout. We then mount our horses and ride a field with hunting fences to familiarize your horse and yourself with spacing and riding in a group.

You may attend this clinic without a horse. If you do bring your horse, email us for forms. Signatures are required. Riders under 18 must have a parent’s signature. Please specify which clinic you will attend. Helmets and proper riding shoes are required. Western saddles are encouraged also!

A donation to the Long Lake Hounds is encouraged.
